Description of the wine
WINE OF THE WEEK In England in August 2004. (Fine & Rare wines)
Straw, a touch of honeysuckle, and soft pear on the nose with hints of exotic, ripe nectarine, and a subtle floral nuance.
On the palate, the fruit is again ripe pear and crisp apple, but sweeter, more tropical flavours linger on the tongue, and crisp, good balanced acidity and a hint of spice into the finish.
Food
This wine is terrific with lighter food courses, pasta, pizzas or by itself.
